Chapter 7: The STL Containers

BRUCE R. SUTHERLAND · Apress eBooks · 2015

The Standard Template Library (STL) consists of a standard set of functionality that implementers are required to support. Creating a standard ensures that code can be used interchangeably on different platforms and operating systems as long as the supplied implementations conform to that standard. A large part of the standard defines a set of containers that can be used to store data structures. This chapter looks at different scenarios where each of the STL containers prove useful. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
