At the planning stage, you first analyze the needs of potential users of your application, determining how it will be used and what it must do. After you have realized what kind of application you want to develop and what results it must produce, you then need to decide what technologies will be used and plan the application structure. Finally, you need to determine what application modules you have to develop and how these modules will interact with each other, planning the steps for building and deploying each application component.
