EasyLanguage Program Structure
George Pruitt, John R. Hill · 2012
This chapter is all about modular programming. An accurate program is constructed by using individual building blocks. The building blocks are sections, or modules, of code that are utilized to improve readability and correctness. In addition, it discusses that built-in and user defined variables that can be indexed to look back at previous values. In a modern programming language, this feature would require the use of arrays and some form of indexing housekeeping. EasyLanguage hides this from user, and be thankful it does. The powerful use and need of modularization is not deviated one bit from the original publication of this book. Remember that the EasyLanguage editor is user-friendly, is not case sensitive, and recognizes important reserved words and function names through the use of syntax colouring.
