A Microwave Method for Grading Agricultural Products

This paper describes a microwave method for non-contact grading of agricultural products. An open-ended cavity is used as a sensor and requires no particular orientation of the product to be graded. Grading speeds up to 100 m/min are achieved although higher speeds are possible.
