Probabilistic Graphical Models
Manuel Arias, Francisco J. Díez · WORLD SCIENTIFIC eBooks · 2015
Carmen is an open-source software package for probabilistic graphical models (PGMs), which aims at being useful for different research groups and for building real-world applications. After reviewing similar projects launched in the last years, we analyze the general properties of Carmen and how it adheres to the principles of software engineering, in particular by including exhaustive documentation and systematic tests. We then describe the current state of development, i.e., which algorithms and modules have been implemented so far, and discuss the results of a preliminary analysis of its performance. 1
