Advances in Library Networking technology for resource sharing activities from LAN to WAN

In this paper, an attempt is made to find out what LAN and WAN are, and the significance of WAN over LAN in the changing scenario of library resource sharing activities. The hardwork and software requirements for the effective implementation of WAN are also studied.
