Multiple antenna receivers have been proposed for interference suppression in GPS. The Minimum Output Power (MOP) approach is a preferred anti-jam technique due to its low computational complexity. This paper introduces an open-loop anti-jam approach based on MOP using fully augmentable nonuniform linear arrays. First, the directions of arrival (DOAs) of all incoming jammers are estimated. Then, only the strong interferers are nulled using optimum array weights which are obtained based on subspace projection method. The 30 dB despreading gain of the GPS receiver protects the GPS against weak jammers. The simulation results presented validate the effectiveness of the proposed anti-jamming approach.
