Ey means of a computer, we want to figure out the value of the function, y=0.3 x 2 +0.25x−1 $$ y = 0.3{x^2} + 0.25x - 1 $$ for the point x = 0.5. As one can easily find out, the result is -0.8. Let us first put down the SIMULA program, and then explain it.
