Optimisation Using Genetic Algorithms
Natalia Proops · New Zealand Engineering · 1996
Computer scientists are making use of genetic algorithms (GA), based on Darwin's law of natural selection to improve plant performance by optimizing the use of materials, personnel and energy to achieve a goal of more output, reduced cost and less waste. An example of a new method based on GA that is less demanding is highlighted.
