The relationship of the exis- tence of self-dual permutation codes over 22 F vF and the existence of self-dual permutation codes over the binary field 2 F are obtained. Finally, a necessary and sufficient condition and a sufficient condition for the existence of self-dual permutation codes over 22 F vF are given under some group theoretical conditions.
