Improving Enterprise Security through Predictive Analysis

Modern cryptography is all about the mathematics. e algorithms are typically based on a “hard” problem in mathematics. Tedious mathematical proofs underlay the arguments of the strength of the cryptographic algorithm. However, translating a cryptographic algorithm to an actual instantiation that can operate securely in the real world is an engineering feat approaching legerdemain. In the pure mathematics of the cryptographic algorithm, power fluctuations, electromagnetic interference, and human behavior play no role. ese all play a role when a company designs and builds cryptographic equipment or when cryptographic software is written for general purpose computers.
