MHWNs are based on the design of predetermined network topology and allocated frequency spectrum. MHWN operates without the support of infrastructure and backbone network. Since the next hop is known in advance, a faulty path can be resolved using alternate route paths in the network. The size of a multihop is a function of traffic conditions, node density, and node transition state.
