Fall detection is a very important computer visionbased application that has been used for abnormal detection or healthcare of older adults. A fall occurs when a person accidentally falls/slips while walking or standing. It may be due to health and ageing-related issues, abnormality of walking surface or abnormal behavior. It has become very important to develop intelligent surveillance systems, especially visionbased systems, which can automatically monitor and detect falls.
