Chapter 17 introduced stored procedures and provided the basic syntax for their use as well as some simple examples. Stored procedures encompass quite a bit more and deserve some additional attention. The syntax allows for sophisticated construction of related, interdependent operations as well as graceful error control. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors.
