Resource allocation for multi-tier applications in virtualization environments is one of the most important problems in enterprise computing. It is a type of virtualization technology that enables multiple applications to share the system resources on a single server while maintaining performance isolation and differentiation among them. In this paper, we develop an analytical model for resource allocation, which is proposed to support the business service on cloud computing platform. fully utilize the multi-level parallelism delivered by heterogeneous multi-core servers and solve the problem of resource allocation, this paper presents three kinds of model-driven technique for mapping multi-task parallel programs to servers. to enhance the critical phase of resource allocation in the proposed solution, the best resource filtering strategy is presented for load-balance consideration.
