Contributions to Drug Design and Development

Bevyn Jarrott · Chemistry in Australia · 2004

Organic chemists and pharmacologists have a long and successful track record in collaborating in order to discover novel, life-saving drugs. Even with modern techniques such as combinatorial chemistry and high-throughput drug receptor screening, the skills of medicinal chemists and pharmacologists will still be needed to fine-tune 'lead' drug candidates into successful drugs in the clinic.
