Two-way Linked Lists
Richard Mitchell · 1991
The linked lists described in the last two chapters are one-way lists, that is, each item in the list has a means of indicating the position of the next item in the list. This enables the program to move through the list, and there are many applications for such lists. However, it is sometimes required that the program should be able both to go on to the next item in the list, and be able to return to the previous item. This is accomplished using a two-way list.
