Professional Open Source Web Services
Christopher Browne, Vivek Chopra, Dietrich Ayala · 2002
From the Publisher: Web Services is a new paradigm that enables B2B integration using XML-based standards like SOAP, WSDL, UDDI, and many more. The Web Services architecture provides a mechanism to describe, publish, discover, and invoke a service. Web Services bring a new meaning to distributed computing by enabling integration irrespective of platform, language, and networking protocol. This book provides a practical approach to the design and development of Web Services using open source products. The book is organized to present theoretical and practical aspects separately, which helps readers concentrate on the aspect that they are interested in.
