SQL query optimization in Content Based Image Retrieval systems

This paper presents a SQL query optimization method for Content Based Image Retrieval (CBIR) systems. The proposed approach is tested on infantile hemangioma images. Details about the textural features and implementation are provided and their effectiveness is proved.
