The Model of Error Entropy of Area Unit in GIS

In order to measure t he area unit' s positional uncertainty , t he average ent ropy band of line segment s is firstly presented based on average ent ropy of t he whole line in t his paper , and t hen is extended to error ent ropy donut of area unit . The band widt h of error ent ropy donut can be determined by weighted average error ent ropy of all line segment s. A comparison between error ent ropy donut and existing error donut is given and t heir result s are visualized and some conclusion is drawn.
