The Analogy-Based Lexical Acquisition System that we describe in this report belongs to a by now big family of NLP systems which are able to classify linguistic objects on the basis of instances of already acquired Knowledge (Federici and Pirrelli 1994, Montemagni et al. 1996, Pirrelli and Federici 1995, Yvon 1997).
