CRT-based CAL

Philip Barker · 1987

Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) and Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) devices have become an extremely important component of virtually all interactive computer systems. Indeed, together with an associated keypad or keyboard they provide the primary mechanism for supporting human-computer interaction in a variety of different contexts. This is particularly true in educational settings where they can form the basis for the creation of highly reactive teaching and learning resources. Although in this book primary reference is made to CRT devices, much of what is said also applies to LCDs.
