How to Buy a Microcomputer

Dennis Longley, Michael Shain · Palgrave Macmillan UK eBooks · 1983

Chapter 1 of the Handbook describes, without unnecessary technical detail, how microcomputers are used and how to set about introducing a microsystem. It is aimed primarily at business and professional people who have no knowledge and experience of computers and who are looking for some guidance before considering the feasibility of installing a microcomputer, or before deciding on a proposal which has been presented to them. It also offers advice to those who have had unsatisfactory experience with computers in the past, and to those who feel a general need to improve their knowledge in an era when microcomputers are helping teach infants to spell. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
