Complex Event Processing (CEP) over event streams has become increasingly important for various real-time applications such as health care, management of RFID data streams and supply chain management. This paper focuses on Probabilistic Complex Event Processing (PCEP) in the context of Automobile Manufacturing using RFID Monitoring in a real-time smart factory. It can able to process the continuously streaming probabilistic data based on the Complex Event Processing Language (CEPL) devised by the technical expertise. CEPL can also work with uncertain data. The proposed methodology generates the event notifications for reporting the event detection to the technical supervisors. In addition, Event Filtering is performed to filter the relevant events for reducing the unnecessary operations spent on duplicate or exceptional events. Experimental evaluation is done to compare the performance of proposed RFID-PCEP approach with existing approaches in terms of parameters - Processing Time and Throughput.
