Drug efficacy and toxicity issues make drug development often fail in clinical phase, resulting in huge losses. As a source of drug development, drug target discovery and identification of the success rate of drug development has a decisive role. With the growing wealth of bioinformatics techniques, and proteomics data, the rapid growth of chemical genomics data, calculation method and the traditional experimental complex network technologies, for new drug target discovery to provide information technology support, and to identify other target prediction provide new ideas. This paper introduces the basic concepts of complex networks, a detailed summary of the background in the network pharmacological analyzes the complex network environment to explore several areas of importance node method proposed in this area last several issues need further study and possible applications of direction.
