An Advanced Anonymous and Biometrics-based Multi-server Authentication Scheme Using Smart Cards.

We find that Chuang and Chen's biometries-based multi-server authentication scheme is unable to resist against stolen smart card and forgery attacks; in addition, their scheme has weak biometrics detection and privacy preservation problems. Thus, in this paper, we propose an advanced biometries-based authentication scheme for a multi-server environment with higher security and efficiency. Our scheme not only resists potential attacks but satisfies various additional requirements as well. Compared with related biometries-based schemes, our scheme not only ensures security but also has lower computation cost. In particular, our scheme overcomes the false negative problem in biometries detection.
