Using user-specific behavioral patterns to describe users in a closed web environment

The purpose of the experiment is to investigate specific behavioral patterns in a closed web environment, for example, The goal is to see if there is a user-specific behavioral pattern and if that pattern could be used in a web environment to identify an individual. Participants were asked to sit in front of a computer and browse through the information presented on cnn.com. The following data were recorded: date, time, milliseconds between actions, the active application, the window name, system message, mouse coordinates, and distance between current and past position in coordinates of the mouse/cursor. The experiment consists of 10 sessions of approximately 30 minutes each.
