SHELL for the ILIAC 4

Abstract : A one-dimensional Lagrangian hydrodynamics computer code (SAP) and a two-dimensional Eulerian hydrodynamics computer code (SHELL) have been successfully written in the GLYPNIR language for the ILLIAC IV. Timing simulations suggest a speed 50 times that of a CDC 6600 for the GLYPNIR SHELL code.
