Refining Local Smoothness through Higher Level Geometry

The Lim-Alder Extended Edge Extraction Algorithm accumulates pixels into ``natural'''' lines and curves. The Algorithm is built on a local smoothness classifier, so we have failures when higher level context is required. We introduce this context through vector models of pixel sequences.
