A Method of Reverse Analysis Based on Traceable Dynamic Taint Analysis

In reverse analysis, tracking the procedure of processing critical data or locating the source of critical data is quite time-consuming. In this paper we design an innovative traceable dynamic taint analysis method, which can help solve the problem above and extract taint related instructions. A prototype system was implemented and evaluated with different samples, the result of which proved that the proposed method combined with traditional methods could significantly improve the efficiency of analysis.
