As long as the number of minicalculators in use continues to increase and the quality of their hardware and software designs remains in a state of flux, a systematic means of differentiating between and evaluating the various machines will be needed. The checklists that follow are designed to help educators select an appropriate minicalculator for their individual or group situation.
