Physics exams – not what they were

About five years ago I performed a test, albeit a not very scientific one, on my 18-year-old physics A-level students. They had been telling me how difficult they found their physics exams, to which I responded with the usual "they're not as hard as they were in the old days" line. So I thought I would surprise them by handing out copies of my old exam paper from the 1960s, inviting them to see how physics exams really did used to be.
