Coexistence of LTE-U and LAA in a Wi-Fi world

The potential commercialization of the 5 GHz U-NII bands with unlicensed LTE technologies has sparked considerably debate throughout the wireless industry and beyond. This paper will look at the current state of investigations into the ability of unlicensed LTE technologies to coexist cooperatively with incumbent Wi-Fi implementations and discuss some of the implications involved.
