A Hybrid Authenticated Group Key Agreement Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks

Yue Li, Wei Li, Gaoli Wang, Thomas Newe · International Conference on Electric Technology and Civil Engineering · 2012

a new hybrid authenticated group key agreement protocol is designed for resource-constrained Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) in this paper. The hybrid protocol reduces the high cost public-key operations at the sensor side and replaces them with efficient symmetric-key based operations. In addition the protocol provides strong security services. To ensure the protocol is feasible in resource-constrained WSNs, it is implemented and evaluated in MICAz and TelosB sensor nodes.
