De Bruijn Cycles and their Application for Encoding of Discrete Positions CESTMIR SIMANE By following the line of de Bruijn in studying the P" cycles by the method of graphs, an algorithm leading directly from a known Pn cycle to a cycle Pn+1 has been derived by the author.At least a part of all possible Pn cycles can be constructed by this procedure.The applicability of Pn cycles in position encoding systems using one path coding scale is demonstrated both for Pn in fundamental as in the transformed form.
