After the release of the iPhone in 2007, many Smartphones on various platforms have been making an appearance. Unlike the cell phones, users can install and use applications on Smartphone. Due to this fact, many developers rush into the Smartphone application market and develop various applications. Since all the functions of a Smartphone application are manipulated through the GUI, GUI configuration with respect to user experiences and the correct behaviors of GUI are the key factors that lead Smartphone application to succeed. Therefore, GUI Testing is inevitable to guarantee application's reliability. Testing is activity to detect errors, it is important to clarify the test objectives before performing tests. By clarifying them, we can clarify what errors will be detected, what test tools and testing methods will be used and how test cases are generated. Although several frameworks and tools exist to test GUI of iOS application, but they require much effort to write test cases and test codes. Thus an automatic generation of test cases makes the efficiency of GUI testing higher. In this paper, we describe the possible errors in iOS applications and identify the errors due to GUI. In order to detect these errors, we suggest an automatic generation method of test cases and test drivers with information extracted from the XIB files.
