As the amount of digital information is dramatically increasing, efficient data storing and managing is important research issue. These data must be stored by efficient methods according to their value and importance. When many data are stored in storage system, data compression schemes are used to save the storage space and to reduce the network cost. Data Compression methods are affected by many factors(CPU processing time, storing speed, network cost, etc,). There are many featured compression programs in real world. But, the bench mark data by vendors are not equal to actual usage performance because of many factors of system specifications, environments, and data features. We propose a model to choose proper data compression method for rapid and efficient transfer/share of the practical data. We find out the efficiency of the proposed method by many experiment results.
