Message Passing Visualization with ATEMPT.

This paper presents ATEMPT, A Tool for Event Manipulation, which is another tool for the visualization of message passing programs. The differences between ATEMPT and similar approaches are based on the graphical representation as an event graph, on the inspection features and on the source code connection. Another advantage of ATEMPT is its use for error detection as well as performance analysis. Usually these tasks of the software lifecycle are supported by separate tools, whereas ATEMPT combines them within one graphical user interface.
