Comparative Study of Destination Sequenced Distance Vector and Ad-hoc On-demand Distance Vector Routing Protocol of Mobile Ad-hoc Network
Teressa Longjam, Neha Bagoria · 2013
protocol are two routing protocols mainly designed for Mobile Ad-hoc networks (MANET). DSDV is a proactive routing protocol and AODV is a reactive routing protocol. The main purpose of this paper is to discuss about these two routing protocols and to show a comparative analysis of them in terms of their performance metrics that are Packet Delivery Ratio, Throughput and Routing Overhead by using NS2. The comparison is done by varying the number of nodes and keeping the number of connection constant.
