Research on Workplace Selection Method for Mobile Agent Based on Contract Net

In the distributed computing environment, there are more than one working device could provide the same service for the mobile Agent. When faced with multiple workplaces recommended, the mobile Agent should choose a suitable one based on the current situation and some certain rules, and then move. According to the candidates' non-functional properties and an integrated qualitative and quantitative evaluation, this paper presents a more comprehensive workplace selection method combined with the contract net protocol. After completing service for mobile Agent, the workplace's the dynamic evaluation will be updated. Thus, timely information of the workplaces in the whole distributed environment will be more effectively provided for the subsequent mobile Agents.
