User Location Anonymization Scheme Supporting Continuous Query Processing in Road Network

To provide users location-based services in a safe way, a scheme for user location protection is required. But existing work has a problem of disclosing users' locations in case of continuous query processing. To solve the problem, we, in this paper, propose a new location anonymization scheme to support continuous query processing in road network. For this, we define the level of privacy protection in order to reduce the probability of user location disclosure for continuous query processing. By using it, we can support privacy protection to a higher level than threshold. Finally, we show from a performance analysis that our scheme outperforms existing work in terms of cloaking area creation time and the number of its successes.
