Simplified Method of Designing Daubechies Wavelets in Class Room

A simplified mathematical procedure is proposed in this paper to arrive at the Daubechies filter coefficients for 4 and 6 taps, as it has been found that Daubechies method of finding filter coefficients is a mathematically demanding one for the undergraduate students. So as to overcome this difficulty, the H(z) is operated to obtain the filter coefficients.
