Multiuser cooperation is potential to improve the network throughput and increase the intended end-to-end communication reliability. For different purposes, the cooperative node has two selections: transmit its own signals or relay the intended source’s message. Unlike the conventional relay selection problems, we consider a new scenario in which the receiver can perform interference cancellation. In order to deal with the interference between the nodes in cooperative wireless network and support the simultaneous transmissions, we promote three novel techniques: (1) Incomplete Interference Cancellation(IIC), (2) A lightweight synchronization mechanism based on flash signals, and (3) Joint Space-Time Interference Cancellation(JSTIC). In comparison with the conventional interference cancellation, IIC can make use of the information in the undecodable signals when SNR>1. We perform extensive simulation and show that, IIC and JSTIC can significantly improve the capacity of the multiuser wireless system.
