A Cost Estimation Model supporting the Function Point

Current software cost estimation models have two major problems. First problem is the accuracy of cost estimation model depends on the estimated value of LOC, but it is very difficult to estimate the accurate LOC. Second problem is they have been experiencing difficulties in estimating the costs of software developing under new environments. This paper presents a new cost estimation model with which we can estimate the function points (FP) of software to be developed under new environments. Finally, we show the accuracy or our model comparing with current software cost estimation models.
