Radio has once again proven to be a powerful tool in motivating and educating large masses of rural people in far flung regions of India.UNICEF has successfully utilised this powerful tool to bring home to mothers the importance of ‘The First Year of a Child’s Life.’Systematic planning on the part of media personnel, health specialists, decision-makers and administrators and field workers has achieved tangible results.
