Abstract. The impact of laws in Requirement Engineering has increas-ingly drawn attention to new methodologies and techniques that address the problem of aligning a set of requirements with applicable norms. Goal models have long provided a lightweight approach for the represen-tation and analysis of requirements. This paper presents ongoing work for evaluating the compliance of a goal model with applicable laws.
