Separating singing voice from music

This report aims to analyse a couple of algorithms that can be used to separate the singing voice from the music accompaniment in popular songs. These algorithms are useful and crucial in many applications such as capturing musical details, applications to retrieve and recognise lyrics, and alignment. It is thus essential to have exceptional source separation software for such applications.
