A Multiple-Criterion Scoring Approach To Information System Project Selection
Henry C. Lucas, John Royal Moore · INFOR Information Systems and Operational Research · 1976
This paper presents a decision procedure for the selection of information systems projects. The procedure includes a steering committee which develops project evaluation criteria. The committee specifies weights for each criteria. Several alternatives for each computer application are developed and a scoring model is used to evaluate each alternative. The procedure allows for the inclusion of both objective and subjective criteria and should result in consistent project selection decisions.
