In our previous work, we proposed a method of Message Suppression Controller (MSC) considering Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) communications. In this paper, we propose an Enhanced Message Suppression Controller (EMSC) for Vehicular-Delay/Disruption Tolerant Networking (V-DTN). The simulations for two scenarios are conducted considering obstacles (buildings), where EMSC embedded in Vehicles (EMSCVs) are present or not present. We consider 802.11p standard and send bundle messages in a Manhattan grid scenario. We use the packet delivery ratio, end-to-end delay, number of sent messages, and number of newly discovered vehicles and neighboring vehicles as evaluation metrics. From our simulation results, we observe that EMSCV decreases the total sent messages even if the number of vehicles is increased and all bundle messages reach the end-points during simulation time.
