An Autonomous Flip-Flop Circuit used by Piecewise Linear Tunnel Diodes : A Chaotic Attractor and Chaotic Synchronization

In the previous works, 8)9)the author proposed a circuit realization of an autonomous flip-flop circuit used by piecewise linear tunnel diodes, producing chaotic and bifurcation behavior, when the equilibrium points have saddle-repellor-spiral connections. He also found double screw type chaotic attractor like a double scroll attractor16) in some conditions. In this paper the purpose is to give the fundamental generation mechanism of double screw type chaotic attractor and to theoretically and experimentally investigate chaotic synchronization states of the coupled circuits with the use of the autonomous flip-flop circuit.
